The 2014 Pride Parade in downtown Fort Worth begins at noon from Weatherford Street and continues south down Houston Street. Clubs, organizations, businesses and supporters, floats and walkers parade to showcase the eclectic array of what makes our community unique.
Our line up number is #44, located on the corner of W. 2nd Street and Cherry Street. Find us there!
The celebration continues until 6:00pm with the annual Pride Street Festival at Houston and 9th Streets featuring live entertainment, vendors lining the streets with pride related merchandise and a variety of beer, beverage and tasty food booths.
You are encouraged to park your vehicles near the Tarrant County Convention Center and/or the Intermodal Transportation Center. Parking is plentiful there and walkers will end the parade route near this area which is also where the Street Festival is being held after the parade. Metroplex Atheists has a table at this festival and you are welcome to hang out and join in the festival.
The theme of the parade is Unity in Community. The parade wants to portray a positive and welcoming atmosphere, please make sure your attire reflects the parade theme and refrain from wearing any attire that is disparaging.
