I'm not much into the Bar Scene, but if I go out, it's to Best Friends. People actually talk to other people here. Snobs are few and far between (if they arrive after 11 on Saturday...beware!! :-)
Definitley a gentle hang out for a beer on any night,...but gentle goes to giant fun as the place picks up on Friday and Saturday evenings (9ish).

There REALLY is a lot of difference between the bars in Dallas and the bars in Ft. Worth. F.W. is just more laid back and much friendly. This bar has extremely friendly bartenders and great music.

Went there tonight for the first time and had a blast. Im from Dallas and used to the Dallas Bars.
I love it better than Dallas. The folks are wonderfull friendly and knew the words to all the old country music I played on the Juke Box. Will be back and it will be my local hangout from now on.

Over all the bar is bigger than the norm in FW. As far as gay bars, the women look like men and the men trollish, but its roomy and I do love my space. Weekends, the music is cool, mix of every music lover. Don't come out during the week, it's dead!

I love this bar. The music is varied to the point that everyone gets on the floor without "just" the constant and neverending Donna Summer beat leftover from the 70's... Grow up gay Fort Worth... this a great place to dance, visit and meet new friends.

If you are looking to sweat, this is the place to go. The air conditioning is in very bad shape, the music is not current, and the managment does not like you to complain. They have an excuse for every thing that goes wrong.

tooooo much old cowtown music. some people just want to dance, not to that 2 step barnyard shit. if you would just cater to all ofn your patrons whites, blacks, hispanics & others you could really turn that place out. If u c a mixture of people inside try to give a little som-som to all of us. can we just all get along I think WE deserve it.... just try it

Have been playing the SAME country music and Tejano music of yester years. Need a better variety! Definitely has the potential to be the best bar in Fort Worth, BUT needs 80's, Tejano, and NEWer country! Ever heard of JR's in Dallas? Your bar has potential!

I've been to this bar on several occasions, and each time it was an evening to remember. From the moment I walked in, I was pushed/shoved and stepped on by the women that obviously don't want gay men in their place. Fine, I can get that. Headed to the back bar where there is a male bartender where I had a chance at getting a drink. Music is country, and it's really a good atmosphere if you find a spot where you're not in any womens way. Takes a long time to get a drink once the place gets busy, but what bar doesn't have that down side?

Cool people, good music, and okay drink prices. Don't go here expecting to hook-up. It's almost always couples, and even if someone might be single you can never tell. My friend and I kid all the time that we're gonna have special made t-shirts that read SINGLE in big letters! haha

Went Sat. before New Years Eve. What fun and worth the drive to Ft. Worth. Tired of the Dallas strip. Nice crowd. Good music but a little heavy on the country. Diverse crowd of all ages, orientation, race (only a couple of good looking black females who were taken. One stood out CLASSY! Tall drink of carmel delight.) Cheap drinks, too smokey, but worth having to go outside for a breather. Will be back soon, hopefully another tall, hazel eyed, long haired carmel colored femme will grace the place unescorted.
